We warmly invite prospective families to our upcoming Open Mornings.
We are pleased to share that Mr Ferris, Headteacher of Great Hollands Primary School, has been appointed as Director of the Primary Hub within Maiden Erlegh Trust.
This new role is part of a wider leadership model already in place for Secondary, Special Education and Alternative Provision across Maiden Erlegh Trust. Extending this to a Primary Hub means our primary schools can work more closely together, ensuring that every pupil benefits from consistent standards, shared expertise and the best possible support.
We’re delighted to share that our Year 3 pupils have been featured in a new art exhibition at South Hill Park, following their work on the Healthy Lifestyles project with artist and educator Areej Abdi.

Congratulations to Karen Pratt, Year 2 Early Career Teacher at Birch Hill Primary School, who has been named a Values in Action winner for Work Together this term.
Building on our Space topic from last half-term, Year 5 had a visit from Sarah Crick from Just Good Science today!
This week marks a significant milestone in our sustainability journey as we celebrate one year of working in partnership with our climate action advisors, Let’s Go Zero. Their expertise and guidance have been instrumental in helping us take our first confident steps towards decarbonisation across all nine schools and our Shared Services facilities.

A short holiday message for our whole school community.
It has been a busy time across Maiden Erlegh Trust and as we head into the holidays, we'd like to wish you all a restful time – however that may look for you.
Whilst rest is often thought of as stopping or switching off, the research tells us it’s far more layered than that – it can be active, creative, physical, social or solitary, and different types of rest serve different purposes.
We hope you enjoy these ten evidence-backed insights about rest and that however you are spending the Easter break, you find some time for rest and recuperation.
We are delighted to launch the Inter-School Sports Programme — a series of sports activities and events designed by our Heads of PE for all our schools, and every one of our students.
Friday 4 April 2025 is an extraordinary INSET day across all Maiden Erlegh Trust (MET) schools. On this day, all our schools will be closed to students to allow staff to participate in comprehensive Class Charts training.
This year, our Take One Picture Art exhibition is based on The Courtyard of a House in Delft by Pieter de Hooch.
